Julie is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's
Degree in Communications. In the last 20 years she has written
for newspapers, hospitals and websites. As a breast cancer conqueror,
Julie's passion is writing about women's health and wellness,
children's health, and alternative approaches to medicine.

Freelance writer Julie Webb Kelley has written in various
fields: health care, business and non-profit. Julie writes articles,
newsletters, brochures, web site content, reports, press releases,
resumes, fliers, business ads, radio ads, and business letters.
Before becoming an independent freelance writer, Julie worked
as an RN and Communication Coordinator in the PICU at
The Children's Hospital of IL at OSF St. Francis Medical Center
in Peoria, IL. She completed her BAC in 2004 at Jones University
in Colorado.
OSF enabled Julie to pursue her communication skills in several
ways. She wrote numerous in-house articles, created brochures
and completed editing projects within OSF. She also developed
and wrote monthly copy for The Pediatric Pipeline and
Heart Copy, newsletters for OSF. Also, at the request
of her peers, she created an on-line edition of The Pediatric
Pipeline newsletter.
In 2005 Julie was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award
in Business as part of the annual Women's Recognition Awards
sponsored by the YWCA, Pekin, IL. She was recognized for her
outstanding marketing and public relations skills.
